Yes. Khumo 2 is a handheld point of sale device your waitstaff can carry to the table. It runs the same point of sale software as the Counter, so orders placed tableside appear on the Counter screen and are sent to the kitchen printer automatically. Staff can also take card, tap, and QR payments directly at the table.
Yoco Counter accepts Visa and Mastercard (debit and credit), Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay via tap, chip and PIN, QR codes and mobile wallets through the Neo Touch card machine.
Most payments reflect within 2 business days, but often sooner. If you need funds immediately, Yoco offers instant payouts so you can access your money right away. You can see your transaction history and payout timelines in the Yoco App.
Yoco Counter connects via Wi-Fi or through a built-in multi-network SIM with 4G backup. If your Wi-Fi goes down during load shedding, the device switches to mobile data automatically so you can keep taking orders and payments.
For longer outages, you can also run a Khumo 2 alongside Counter on the same account as a backup device, with its own 18-hour battery and multi-network SIM.
